Will not having a horn affect the score I will get on my driver’s license test?

I know they tell you to push your horn but mine will not work! Will they even let me take the test? Please don’t tell me what you "think" they do or what you "think" they should do…please tell me what you KNOW! Help!

they probably won’t let you test…. they want you to show you have horn, lights, turn signal and wipers that work, they will otherwise say the car is unfit to drive/test.

unless you are lucky/have a slack butt testing you, NO

they’ll probably make you fix it before you can use the car

i took the test in colorado and i didn’t have to test the horn at all. depends on what state ur in i guess.

  4. Silverwolf says:

probably not as it’s an important safety device

It was a while ago when I took my driving test, but I know that if any of your functions: lights, blinkers, hazard button, etc- didn’t work, it was an automatic fail.
If you don’t know where they are you loose points, but if they are broken I don’t think they will let you go out.

Call your local DMV and just ask.

ami is totally right, i have to agree with her, i would have said the same thing.
