When moving to a new province, can you get a drivers license or do you have to do the test all over again?

I have a class 5 BC drivers license and just moved to Edmonton Alberta. Can I just switch over to a Alberta license with no hassle? Or do I have to do a test or something?

  1. Gambit says:

as long as you have proper identification (bring your birth certificate) and a copy of your moving violations record they will just transfer the license to the Alberta equivalent.
