I got my permit last july 13. Can I take my driving test on December 13? Cause Im not sure if you count July on the 6 months you have to wait. I am 17 in Las Vegas

In the majority of the states its 6 months after you got your permit.

When can I take my driving test?
I received my permit after I passed my permit test last October, on the 29th I think. And I know that you have to wait 6 months before you can take a driving test for your license, but is it exact? Will I have to wait til the 29th of April, or can I go try and take it like during the first or second week of April?

You should specify wich state your in. In New Mexico its A week of learning and testing(written) and 60 hours of experience. Its very easy here.

Ya gotta wait till the 29th which equals 6 months. If you don't believe me, call the DMV and ask them.

The statute probably says something like this:
"Permit holder can take the skills test to obtain their driver's license 6 months from the date of issue of their permit."
Key words here:
6, months, from, date, of, issue……….So what do you not understand? Count 6 months from October 29, 2008 & you will have the date that you can take your skills test to get your license.

[in cali] it's 6 months from the day you passed the written test (unless you're 18 or older – you can take it any time after you've passed the written test) i don't know about other states.. good luck!!

you can take it a week from the time u got your permit ..what 6 months peroid and did you have any lesson driving

What’s the age to hold a license in Vegas? If it’s less than what you are now, then no you don’t have to wait six months. Lets say that I live in state "A" were i have to be 17 to get my license. If i get my permit at age 17, i can take my test the week after as long as all my driving hours are finished with drivers ed (mandatory in state "A" lol).
You can take your driving test on Thursday, January 13, 2011, which is 6 months from your permit date. The site below says you have to hold it 6 months before you can take your test. I was surprised to read that even though you have your license, if you’re under 18, you still have restrictions. See first site below for more details.
