Lets say i’m turning right okay, and i look both way, i signal. Should i be checking my mirrors?
If i’m not supposed to and i do, do i get points deducted?
Lets say i’m switching lanes, do i check all my mirrors even if i’m by a curb and no cars are on that side?

check mirrors, before making any lane switching or turns.
they wont take off points for checking mirrors i dont think. even if they do.. it doesnt matter because the only thing that matters is if you pass.
relax you’ll do fine
You do what you’re supposed to do, this is what you should have been learning.
No, you will not get deducted for being overly safe.
.No, you do not need to check your mirrors until you have entered the lane of travel, then you will check your mirrors.
.Remember to look left, then right, then left before proceeding into your turn. If you have to wait for traffic, then look look look again.
>and when your out there watch for motorcycles please.
Good luck.
You don’t HAVE to check your mirrors but if it makes you feel more comfortable you can. They will not deduct points for it. When you are switching lanes ALWAYS check your mirrors. You never know when someone will come out of nowhere. They would more than likely deduct points for it.
My driving examiner once said ‘for every lampost that you see look in your mirror’ this has stayed with me throughout my years of driving. It is absolutely essential to look in your mirror, including the ones on the windows at the side of the car, but even more so the mirror on the main mirror. It is irrelevant whether anything is there or not, as the checking of mirrors, makes sure you have not missed a small child, dog or anything else you may not have seen otherwise. This is a key thing in whether you pass or fail a test, so do make sure that you use the mirrors. Good luck.
Its not that hard. Just do the hour practice thing before the test and you’ll know what to do.
