What happens if you cancel your road test after you take it?

I took my driving test (NY) today and failed. The instructor said you can reschedule after five hours. I went before the five hours were up and looked online to see if I could schedule another and the first test appointment is still there. It says if I want to schedule another appointment I have to cancel the first.
When you fail the road test you have to pay $10 to be able to take another. What happens if I cancel the test I’ve already taken?

I’ve already canceled the test and rescheduled the new one, but does anyone know if they’re gonna still charge the $10 or cancel my test I just scheduled when they go to update the information?
