You need to know all the rules that are in the driver’s handbook and how to obey all traffic laws and to be able to handle your car in a satisfactory manner.

Well first off I don’t live in NJ but I do live in NY I wouldn’t imagine it’s much different. Signs are important but they usually wont ask you on the Driving test. The most important thing to pay attention to is that you don’t go over the speed limit and to make complete stops at stop signs. Always look at your mirrors before and after turns the inspector is going to look for that, be sure to signal before turns to. If you maintain smooth control of your car and not hit the curb on the parallel park you will do just fine. The things that you will need for the test are your Learners permit, 5 hour class completion paper and your car.

    Good Luck!

Just read driver’s handbook, that will be enough.
