What age do you have to be to test drive a car?

I would love to test drive a mustang… what age do i have to be?

And do the people ride with me?

    thats all up to the dealer i test drove cars at 19 but i did have a 40 grand truck that i was going to trade in on a new car thay let me take any thing i wanted to test by my self.now i would say a 19 year old just walking in off the street wouldent get the same tretment

    You would have to be at least 18 and actually have a chance to afford the car you want to test drive.

    If you showed up all scrubby looking driving some beater and wanted to drive a $40k car they aren’t going to let you.

    Some dealers let you take the car out alone some don’t.

    I test drove some muscle cars when I was 17 no one rode with me, but that was a long time ago, I recently test drove a pick-up and the salesmen rode with me

    it depends on how you look and what neighborhood you’re in. i test drove a car when i was 17 but i had my dad with me and the salesman rode with me though i was in a poorer neighborhood at the time in chicago. then my dad test drove a car in the suburbs and he got to drive it alone. now for the age just dress up like you can afford it and they might let you do it if you have a license. then again i know my friend test drove a car at a dealer by my house and he didn’t even have a license.
