Should people be required to take a driving test every so many years?

Do you think it would help cut down on accidents?

that wont stop the crazies off the road. the cars should have a built in system, where you put in your license like an ATM card, and if you have a series of driving like a mad man, you car will only drive the max of 55.

As someone who lives in a neighborhood of senior citizens, yes, yes, and heck yes.

Yes. Especially older people. Their eyes are worse, reflexes aren't as good.

yes! and also I don't mean to discriminate but I strongly feel that everyone "including me" when they reach the age 65, there license should be revoked.

I don't think it will hurt. It should be a good idea to be re-validated every 5 or 10 yrs.

    yes.

As an older person myself, I feel that anyone over 60 should be required to take the test, at least every 5 years; after 70, every year. One of my friends' mother has narcolepsy (can fall asleep at any time, without warning) and still MAILS IN her license renewal, and still drives. She is over 90… and no way should have access to a car, except to ride!
