wait till you're 18 or you'll have to wait 6 months before you can get your real license and just take the practice test on the dmv website keep taking them till you get good at then and you'll pass with flying colors

get your test back and show it to those people who say its common sense and they'll get lots wrong i guarantee it

my girlfriend and i just took tests online and we both aced it and we live in ca too

most of its common sense. they have 7 dif versions of it though. my advice to you is to know your distances (ei: how close can u be to an emergency vehicle when its emergency lights are on? 300 ft btw )and right of ways. then the rest you should be fine on

Yes, you should read it cover to cover. It might be common sense for some but you are a new driver. There are some questions on the test that are directly related to the subjects in the book. Believe me, I took the test and passed with a 96 on my first try. I read the book twice in one day. Its actually pretty interesting and weird to read some of the rules of California versus the rules of New Jersey or North Carolina.

In short, it won't hurt!

just take the test with out studying…….. if you fail, take it again……… i never read it and passed………………. best of luck to u……….
