Question about driving test with glasses/contacts?

Okay, I’ve heard that if you take the driving test with glasses, they will put that on your liscense and if you get caught driving without glasses on, you get a ticket. But what if you have contacts in instead of glasses? Do you still get a ticket?

No, they do not require glasses, they require ‘corrective lenses.’

You can wear contact when you drive. If you are stopped the officer may ask you to prove that you have contacts in. It is pretty hard to demonstrate especially on a dark highway. He will probably have to take your word for it if you are stopped for a moving violation. If you are in an accident especially if someone is hurt, they will probably make you prove you have them in by taking one out.

Contacts or glasses, it doesn’t matter as long as you have one of the two.

It says ‘must wear corrective lenses’ which covers contacts. If a cop challenges you just tell him you’re wearing contacts. To make sure you aren’t lying he may ask you to take one off and show him.
