    I failed at the last possible second when I parked in a slanted parking spot and the front right tire hit the curb.

    I failed the first time because I stalled in the middle of the road, just leaving the test centre…I passed second time..

    first try for my car license didn't have to take test for my semi, the instructer said i knew more than she did and admitted she never did a test for truck before. the joys of living in a little hick town in the boonies!!

    Bike – passed first time
    Car – passed second time with only 3 minor errors! First time I got three major errors (plus I can't remember how many minor ones) – driving too close to pavement, driving too close to parked cars and not seeing a lane closure early enough. It really wasn't my day!

    Two times…Got it on my second….The first time the guy didn't even let me continue the test, he was harsh…..I came to a stop sign and stopped for like a second and a half…looked and went…..he said you are supposed to pause at a stop sign for a minimum of 3 seconds…and said that I failed….But I came back next time and glided through the test.

    3 times. the first time i had a rolling stop (i wasnt aware at the time that even if no cars are coming that you have to come to a complete stop.)

    the second time some idiot stopped right in the middle of the street and i almost crashed into him, causing me to fail the test.

    then the third time was the charm.

    after having been driving on the road for 5 years i have only gotten one speeding ticket (i didnt slow down quite fast enough at the speed limit sign.) and have gotten into 0 wrecks.

    its crazy that i had to take it 3 times and have only gotten one thing wrong on the road… and yet i know people who passed it with flying colors their first time and have gotten into multiple car accidents. i even know one kid who only took it once and got in a wreck that same week.

    I passed on the first try. So did everyone I know. I don't know anybody who failed the driving test. I come from a large family that is very close. We may be close but we pick on each other a lot. If somebody had failed the test he or she would never live it down. My uncle still gets picked on for a wreck he had 30 years ago. My sister still gets picked on for blowing up a car engine 22 years ago. I still get picked on for hitting a deer 20 years ago. If anybody ever failed the driving test, they would be picked on for life. We have over 70 people at Thanksgiving dinner every year. About 40 of them are old enough to drive and not one has ever failed the driving test. The closest any one ever came is when my aunt failed the eye exam. Since she failed the eye exam, she never took the test.

    If you are asking because you failed, then thank God you are not part of my family.

    I didn't have to take a driving test for my license because I took driver's ed through the school… I don't know if that's only a Texas thing or not though
