I’m over 18 and it’s my first time getting a Texas drivers license. I know I need to pass the written and visions tests but I do I also have to take the drivers test as well or is that optional?

My friend is scheduled to have his test soon, but due to unforeseen circumstances, he cannot go with his parents so he will not be taking the test.

If he were to go and take his test without his parents but with the proper vehicle registration and all the essential documents, then will he be able to take and pass his test? Or will his parents need to be there to sign some things?

I live in Michigan. I’m 21… I just renewed my license last June…

I was wondering if they give a vision test when you go in for an enhanced license? My friend just got his and they didn’t test him but he already has glasses.

What exactly did you do during the test? Anything crazy happen during the test? My dad had to pull over for a fire truck. How can I stay calm during the test so I don’t get too nervous and mess up during the test?

I took my drivers license test today…..everything went perfect till I stopped at the last intersection..well my light was green but I waited for another car then I went to turn but accidentally cut a guy off….he was speeding but the instructor told me that it was an automatic fail i was totally floored .

Anyways I rescheduled for march 12 but I have to take a different route….I
having so so many doubts now idk what to do….any advice would help….

failed my drivers test because i couldnt parallel park when i was 16. people have been telling me that when i am 18 i can just go in and take a written test to get my license instead of having to go through and attempt parallel parking again. does anyone know if i still have to take the road test in the car after im 18 or do i only have to take a written one to get my license? thnks.

I just moved to Virginia from Missouri. I still have my Missouri license so do I have to take another drivers test to get my Virginia license?

I trned 16 in November and I still never went to get my license, and my permit is about to expire… I took driver’s ed, but I’m still really insecure when it come to driving. I want to go get my license soon, but I hear from my friends that barely anybody passes the first time. I really want to be prepared so if you could tell me what kind of things they ask and things they make you do that would be great! DO they make you drive on the highway?

I moved from Michigan to Florida for college in July of 2009, and they only require that I live in the state for six months before acquiring residency. Will I need to retake my driving test when I apply for my new license or does it carry over?

My Michigan license does not expire until 2011.

I have my driving permit….and have been riding the city bus all my life AND NOW IM SICK OFF IT!!! SOME ONE PLEASE HELP!!!!
The rules in North Carolina make it hard to get your license….something about having( insurance) to even apply for a Drivers License! and thats even if you do not own a car! …. and I have no friends or family to loan me a car!

I’m currently 16, and I received my permit on 09/14/09.
Since we’re supposed to wait 6 months, does that mean I can take my driver’s test on 03/14/10?
Or is the wait time supposed to be in days (ie. roughly 180+ days)?
The driving school I "attend" fail too much to provide me with this information and calling DMV takes too long.
