I am going to be taking my driver's test soon and was wondering what I will be expected to do…Also, with parallel parking, will they have me park in between 2 actual cars or just cones.

First they'll check your knowledge of controls…then they have you drive over to the parallel parking spot, which is between cones or barrels, and usually along a curb with a rectangle painted around it (you have to get your car fully in the rectangle, and not hit the cones/barrels), then you drive through a course sometimes they are on the road, but i believe a few places have a course set up for you. I just took my test for the second time…and the first time i did everything perfect but hit the curb pulling back into the parking lot of the exam center, and today i couldnt get the car in the rectangle for parallel parking..
so goodluck. lol needless to say im waiting a couple of weeks before i take it again…
