Ontario Driver License test for G1? A car is nessasary?

I am taking the test, but I dont have a car, first I heard it was only a test on computer, but when I looked up in the website it said, knowledge test and road test, or maybe I am misunderstood, Do you guys know how is it? and Here' the link that says that:

    No,The G1 is just a written test.Depending where you are in onatrio,i live in toronto i failed the 1st time on the compuer and then on my second try i wrote it on paper(i passed w00t)
    If i remember correctly,if you paid for $150 like me(again depending where you are) you also paid for 1 road test session( i think thats what it is)
