My friend is trying to get her OH license and asked if she could use my car to take the test. Are you able to take the test in a car registered in another state? I know you need to provide proof of insurance, but do you need to prove you are insured to drive that specific car?
Yes, you can take the driver’s test in a borrowed car as long as it has current insurance. Your friend has to have a registered address in Ohio to take the test there.
