Need advice on Florida's road test?

I took my written driver's test and received my learner's permit and the 5-hour course in new york. Then i took the road test (in ny) and failed because of the parallel parking.

Now i moved to Florida, and switched my ny permit to a Florida one. I want to know if i have to bring my 5-hour course certificate that I've gotten in ny to when i take my road test in Florida. Or do i have to take it all over? I'm over 18, so i know i don't need a parent's signature that i did over 20 hours of driving.

I also want to know what kind of things they make you do in Florida's road test, and where do they do it. I know road test in NY is way harder then the one in Florida. Its in lakeland if that helps. I tried googling about road test in Florida, but all I get is information on how to obtain your first learner's permit.. and I don't need that kind of information. So i was wondering if anyone else can help me.

Since you are over 18, you won't need your course certificate, however it may be good for an insurance discount. You will only need to pass the road test. Each office is different and it depends on the person giving the test as to what you will be tested on. If I were you, I would practice your weak skills just to be sure. Good luck!

Go to the DMV website for your state.

When I was studying for my CDL Learner’s Permit, I went to a site called DMVnow (for VA) and I took the practice test over and over again, as well as picked up the CDL Permit manual, which gets you familiar with the questions asked on the comprehensive and air brakes test.

recall the questions from the past 5 tests. Put them into general categories . Learn everything about these general categories. Focus on questions you have gotten wrong in the past…take practice tests. Try to get ones that are made by the same testmaker or company
