I’ve never made it past parallel parking. I’m really quite a good driver and have been driving for over a year, with no accidents (I’ve never even bumped another car). For some reason, I just freeze up and sometimes even start shaking when the instructor gets in the car with me. What can I do to quell my nerves??
Hey, pseudo-Socrates, parallel parking has NOTHING to do with driving. It’s freaking parking, genius.

Not pathetic because so have I.
I haven’t gone back to take my 4th.
But, I’m just going to focus on the road
and not the asshole in the passenger seat.
just do deep breathing, in your nose and out your mouth. and calmly tell yourself "i’m not nervous"
it’s a fact that if you tell yourself something like that over and over again, your mind will actually believe you’re not nervous.
and no, it’s not pathetic, i failed mine twice before i got it.
If by some miracle you do pass your test, please do us all a favor and stay off the road.
Don’t blame yourself or call yourself a failure.
Nerves tied people up..
You have to be super calm get good rest and erase the world failure from your mind
If you believe, you can achieve
Yes, in my opinion it is pretty pathetic. Im sorry.
Theres so much more to get worried about in the world. Relax, who gives a shit? Say that to yourself next time your about to take your test.
