Is hitting a curb on a driver’s test an automatic fail?

I turned a corner and hit this big ass curb. On the sheet they gave me the fact that I hit a curb is circled – I was wondering if that was an automatic fail? Is failing to stop completely at a stop sign an automatic fail?

ask them if u can try and prove yourself to them one more time. i bet they think that you are taking ignitiontive and probably will let you try again! Hope this helps! ^_^

  2. The Rev says:

Not sure about hitting the curb, but if you don’t make a complete stop you fail.

  3. Peedlepup says:

Yes to both questions. You struck a fixed object, and you did not come to a full stop.

is hitting a curb on a driver’s test an automatic fail?

I’m talking about making a turn and hitting a curb.
Parking is completely different, I’m talking about turning and hitting a curb. On my sheet they gave me it has the fact that I hit a curb while turning circled, so I’m wondering if that meant an automatic fail or if it was other stuff too? Like if I had done all the other stuff right would I still have failed?

Completely depends on where you’re taking the test. I took mine in Oklahoma. If you’re talking about hitting the curb when trying to parallel park, then no, that’s just a couple of points off. If you hit the curb while driving 35 mph down the street, then yes, you fail.

    Yes it is.

if driving…yes…parking maybe my first test i parked perfect and failed [for other reasons] my 2nd test i hit/touched curb parking and passed.

  4. John says:

Your allowed so many points to pass like any test.
Points will be subtracted for that.
I touched the curb when parking up hill & still passed

  5. UCANTCME says:

Driving tests in all states are graded using a point system, meaning hitting a curb while making a turn will most likely deduct 5 points.
