Think of it as an opportunity to show the examiner what a good driver you are. Use your signals, don't forget to look at your blind spots when pulling out of changing lanes. Stop behind the limit lines. Do as you are asked, and try to relax.

Just passed mine today… I didn't pass the first time, it was more a scoping for me to see what was going on.

    Heres some tips:
    1. Driving is about common sense, BUT make sure you know all the technical stuff. How many feet away should you be before dimming your lights? How many feet should you signal before turning? Things of this nature.

    2. LOOK OUT FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE ANSWERS. I don't know how many times I got screwed by these, don't just pick the first right answer you see, take your time.

    3. Remember, if you fail you can just take it again, so try to relax, a lot of people get nervous and do badly because they are not thinking clearly.

if you fail by a few points, flirt with the guy at DMV and act a little ditzy and say "oh, duh, i knew that one" and he will just pass you anyways.. lol, hopefully you will get a guy though, if not, well, better luck next time.. haha, of course, i hope you pass it with flying colors so you wont need to flirt, but i figured i would give some good advice nonetheless

Your must learn all you had in your class before you go for test and also get help from a driver give some time to a person who has recently taken the same type of test. He / she could help you a lot.
