I know the basics (don’t go over or under the speed limit, left right left when you stop, scan the road, check blind spots, etc.) but my nerves seem to get the best of me when I go to take the test. Any tips (except for the obvious ones I listed) or any knowledge of the route would be very helpful.

Yea don’t do it in a Toyota.
Listen to the Examiner; some people will fail due to not listening and or anticipating what he/she will say. Also, be sure to stop behind the limit line at intersections – the LL is the first line you see at an intersection ( there are 2 lines, then the crosswalk itself ). Remember that the Examiner is not there to fail people – they want everyone to pass the first time also
