It sounded, from the inside, like it needed a muffler. Is that because it is the R/T model. Would I find the same thing in the SXT model. Would love to buy the car but not with the noise that I found in the R/T. Please advise if someone out there knows if 1)the noise is because it is the R/T model? and , 2)If I could expect the SXT model to sound the same?
Have the car inspected by an independent mechanic before you buy it. Those cars are very unreliable. Think twice.

due to the fact that is an R/T and is the sportier version, it has a bigger more powerful engine, which may cause it to make more noise. it may be intedended to sound like that.
