Thats all on you and your finances and age also. When you buy a car you have to think about the amt for monthly for the car if you aquire a car payment and insurance as well as any thing that might come up because cars break and need maintence
When you have enough money to cover gas, insurance and maintenance…. Seriously, no waiting time.
Do yourself a favor and buy used…and try to pay cash if you can afford it. ti will save you a bunch of headaches.

i would buy a used car though if it is your first car.
