How to pass my driving test?

I know everything, but for some reason I keep making silly mistakes on the day of my driving test, like not looking left and right long enough when turning. How can I really prepare myself for my driving test?

you just need to relax, and not over think everything. because the moment you break everything down to much you get confused and forget what you are actually meant to do.

  3. Jack S says:

Practice makes perfect really. Drive with parents or older siblings and tell them to point out your mistakes. Once you know your mistakes thats half the battle, then just focus on correcting those mistakes one at a time. Just keep at it, you’ll get it.

1 take some lessons from driving schools it will help you a lot
2 when you go to road test you pay always 40$ 50$ it’s waste your money and your time so …. Good luck )

Get lots of practice in and go through all the red lights you can. Make sure you know how to do all the things talked about in the DMV handbook. That should help you a lot! More information about the driving test can be found at this site. It should be a BIG help to anyone wanting to get information to help pass the driving test on the first try.

First of all don’t stress it, it’s incredibly easy if you are somewhat of a competent driver. Just remember to always check your blind spots (even on your left side), constantly check your mirrors as you are driving, don’t speed, no rolling stops, stop behind stop signs/crosswalks, and learn how to parallel park.

Exaggerate everything. Make it very obvious that you are checking your blind spot and your mirrors as you are driving. When you are at a stop, check every direction and make it obvious. Wait until you are at a complete stop (which means your car rolling back) and a second or two to continue at a stop.

I recently took my drivers test and it was easy, so don’t stress it. Good luck!

Sixteen and Seventeen year olds who have met the minimum requirement of practice hours tend to fair much better than those who wait until they are an adult and don’t come close to that number of hours of practice. They do better on the test, and with accident rates.

So, get alot of practice, about 50 hours.

How to pass my driving test…?

I live in California and my driving test is tomorrow. I am starting to get really nervous and it would be really great if anyone could tell me what to expect. Do you have to parallel park?

Thanks, any advice would be great.

    you have to:

    parallel park
    k-turn
    negotiate turns
    drive in reverse
stuff you did when you practiced…

well, im taking my test in Jersey so idk if it’ll be different than California

Well… To tell you the truth, I failed twice before passing. You’ll drive down a couple of streets, the person testing will ask you to change lanes a couple of times. Make sure you turn on the signal light first, look at the rear view mirror first then the sideview mirror, then switch lanes. You might have to a do a couple of u turns. Yes, you have to parallel park. It’s quite complex, there’s a trick with the flags though, if your driving instructor taught you that. At the end once the vehicle has stopped, put it in Neutral, turn it off, and then put it in parking. I don’t know why, but my instructor told me to do it. No one I know has gotten over seventy three out of a hundered, but who cares if you get near fail… Important thing is you pass! Good luck and safe driving.

How to pass my driving test?

Can anyone give me some tips and hints on how to pass my driving test? I am pretty good at parallel parking, 3-point turn, backing up in a straight line, however, my confidence in driving is not too great. What are your suggestions?
