How to book a practical driving test?

It depends. If you take it at a driving school, then call them up and schedule an appointment, but if you take it through the DMV then call them to schedule your test.

The DMV will definitely test you on your driving but they can make you very nervous if you haven’t gotten your skills down yet. You could learn to drive on your own with a licensed driver…I taught all three of my kids. It was self paced and way cheaper (bout $20.00 per kid). You just have to make sure that you read the manual carefully possibly with a little highlighting. Or you could find driving schools in your yellow pages otherwise your high school is the only other alternative that I know of.
