I didn’t get it until my third try because I was nervous while taking the test and made a few mistakes the first time, then the second time the car I was using didn’t meet the requirements and I failed and didn’t get my money back. Then I passed the third time.

First time. Took me 2 months and 12 days to pass from my first lesson.

1st time, most people pass 2nd or 3rd time around because they go to the test the first time nervous as heck and usaully arent confident in there driving skills. i was confident because i had plenty of private practice.

I had one hour-long lesson a week for exactly one year (although I missed between five and ten lessons in that time), and I passed my test first time.

it took me 2 tries before i passed.

20 minutes driving test + written 1st try

I got my permit the first try. Had it for 10 months. Took my driver’s test on my 16th birthday and passed the first time.

The first time. I’m sorry, but if you don’t pass the first time, you either are nervous out of your mind with anxiety problems (real life driving is even more stressful than the test, by the way) or you just don’t need to be driving.

The driving part took me four tries – it was really quite an ordeal for me. I had one problem after another, including car trouble.

We were in the car for the actual test for about 10 minutes. After that, I waited about 2 weeks for my permit to come in the mail.

I failed the first time because this scared dog ran into the middle of the road and I swerved, a convertible came out of NOWHERE as I was going up a San Francisco-steep hill, and an old man merged right in front of me and cut me off while turning his right signal on instead of his left. So the next time I passed. hehe

idk I havent taken it yet but i got my permit on my first try

Passed it the second time, first time I went up the wrong side of the street LOL but if you saw the street it was on you could see how that was possible.

I drove with a coach for about 13 hours[1.5hours per day] I think.
and I passed the test. -
took me half a year failed theory twice

I just did the training with the instructor and as soon as I was done with that I made an appointment and took my test. The test is very easy, the written test was much harder.

If you're ready go for it. I took mine after a couple weeks I took my permit. Of course that was the only time my driving instructor had.

It varies by both regulation by law in your location, and your ability to learn and retain information.

i took drivers ed in school so 9 weeks. then i had to wait until i was 15 and 8 months before i took the computer test at DMV.

took 30 mins for the practical portion of my test, and then a 5 min "common sense" test. Some of the things in that test, if you dont know, WOW.
Sad part was my motorcycle test was easier… took 2 mins

Ok…so I didn't know how to phrase the question…how long did you have lessons for…and how many tests did you take before you got it right? My sister got her car last saturday (a vauxhall astra)…she's 17 and 2 months and is hoping to pass in January, do you think she will be able to?

it took me 23 lessons… say in about a time-span of 4 months… was pretty easy and smooth actually..
nope.. you do better when you’re younger
it only took me 1 lesson becuz i started driving when i was 14 and age really doesn’t matter it depends on how u r behind the wheel .im 16 and i drive better than my mom and dad
i passed my driving pest with 100 points and i didnt miss and im barley 18 so like he said age is nothing you can do it almost any age
