I have my permit and have been driving since February. I can drive pretty well and am not nervous at all.I have actually driven by myself on a few instances. My only worry is that my instructor will be super nitpicky… I mean I know I have to turn on signals, look in mirrors when switching lanes, keep appropriate speeds, look both ways when passing intersections etc. I'm just wondering what mistakes are considered major mistakes and which are considered minor ones?

if u r as good as u say u r, u will b just fine.
all u have to do is listen to wht they say, do it and u pass.
just stay calm
easy just think posetive
well once you pass the parking pt your pretty much done cuz thats like the hardest pt
The test is about as hard as reciting the alphabet. Just don't try to race cops or flip anybody off.
Your best bet is to make the instructor comfortable…turn on the air or heat if you need to depending on the weather….buckle your seatbeat and check your mirrors when you get in…instead of looking out of your side mirror when you back up they want you to actually turn around and glance back over your shoulder….which this doesnt help me much more because the angle of my side view mirrors are wide and i can already see what i need to see…keep your eyes on the road pretend the instructor isnt there…dont turn on the radio…avoid awkward slamming on brakes…for instance if the light is yellow dont go up to it and slam on breaks at the last minute…yellow is caution..you can cautiously move thru the light looking both ways or you can come to a stop dont make a "snap" judgement…NO SPEEDING….make sure you can correctly back up your vehicle….parallel parking depends on the instructor some do it and some dont …just to be safe make sure you go over this on your own before the test…also all cars arent the same..some places provide the vehicle some dont…remember all cars and controls arent the same..ie the gear placement, headlight controls, hazard lights…and depending on the model and year the brakes may be harder or softer…get a feel for the "test car"and on a lighter note wear a shirt and a hairstyle that you think makes a good ID picture.:) good luck sweety! drive safe….
depends on the state you live in, the area you are testing (rural/city) the nitpickiness of your instructor, the smoothness of the vehicle ur driving, and ur confidence.
short story:
my friend passed his license test first try only getting marked off 3 points of the allowed 15. since then he has recked his car twice and gotten 2 tickets (all this in an old camry)
i however failed my first time. and passed my 2nd time getting marked off 15 points, the maximum. i have since not wrecked my only (first) car and only have one pending ticket because some cop decided he wanted to give a loud car a bs ticket one morning. (all that in a stickshift 5.0 mustang gt)
all depends man. just go and do your best
