How do I get over my fear of driving which has made me fail my road test twice?

I would like to mention how I am 8 months pregnant and that may contribute to my anxiety (hormones, mind on preparing for my daughter ETC). The only reason why I have been inspired to get my license is because I want reliable transportation for me and my daughter and I don’t want to depend on my mother all the time for rides (she’s getting pissed at me nagging her for rides all the time to school and work). I know how to drive but as soon as I think about the fact that I would be driving alone I get really nervous, and the road test judge sitting in my passenger seat freaks me out even more. Now I admit I am not the best driver and have some really bad habits, for example when I change lanes on the highway I don’t take enough time looking over my shoulder to validate the fact that there are no vehicles in the lane I am about to change into. This is because I do not like taking my eyes off the road at all (and it doesn’t help that I am really short and I have to look over the passengers seat that blocks my view unless I’m merging into the left lane.) I also am horrible at backing up my car into a parking spot and as my father tries to tell me “I look for a special way to turn the wheel and I am focusing too much on the wheel and not enough on what direction my car is turning” I just don’t comprehend driving a vehicle in reverse (as stupid as this may sound). I want to be a driver but I feel like I have a lot more to go before I become a safe and confident driver. Does anyone have any suggestions for a nervous mother to be trying a master the rules of the road?

don’t worry be happy take the car to a parking lot and spend the day backing without anyone telling you what to do play at parking backwards and what a car does when it goes too fast but play and be happy most people that try to teach .have been driving too long and have there own bad habits of there own what im trying to say is relax and enjoy it will come to you/ if you have side mirrors adjust them to where you know whats on the side of you what i do if i pass i remember what it was and then look out my rear view mirror to see them you should not turn around anytime while driving / i have a freind that uses a pillow for that extra boost have a good time
