you have to have a degree in engineering (automotive engineering) and then apply to a company.
Well considering there are only a few companies—the dream of being a test driver will be hard to reach. seems as if you would need an engineering degree to get into the technical end of manufacturing then they have to get to know you and you need to schmooze the test drivers and get friendly with them to get a shot at it. I doubt if there is an interview for drivers to test cars. besides–driving for 12 hours around a loop going over the same bumps is not very glamourous. It is not all speed and thrills.
