Failed my drivers test ….I don’t feel well now…?

I practiced all week, actually everything was going great i was almost to the finish , until the intersection, right turn on red i proceeded cause i saw the car was far away..then the instructor told me to stop but i couldn’t cause already in the intersection so i proceeded thus i failed.,, i feel really horrible because of failing, it was a small error on my part because i thought thats what everybody does…cause my family does it and my drivers ed teacher told me to turn when there is space…… thus i failed because i didn’t wait until no cars were seen coming…Now i have to wait another week for a retest..

so i wanted to know i anybody has failed before like this…and in retake do they reflect on why i failed last time?…i just needed to take the right turn down a main road, a left to the dmv and then my parallel park and i would have finished…i feel soooo down…. one small mistake but i guess could have been worse,,,but i understand but i just keep thinking about how i failed when i almost finished…=[

it’s not that big of a deal. I’ve known people who have failed, and some that have failed repeatedly. It’s only a week. It was a simple and honest mistake and now you know what to do next time so you know you will get it. It’s no reason to feel down.

dont be so hard on yourself, i passed on my last try. it was my fault that i failed the first time, the instructor wanted me to merge onto the other lane and i failed to do so because there were to many cars and they wouldnt let me in. the second time it wasnt my fault the instructor just decided to fail me. the call her the dragon lady. the third time a different instructor was with me and i passed it. so really its nothing to put yourself down. people make mistakes its normal its a part of life. so dont worry and if you have to just wait till your light turns green even if the car is at a far distance.

    good luck! :)

Aaaawe! You poor little soul. You must feel horrible. Oh-Oh!, the world’s going to end now, because you failed your drivers test ! Such a pity. Don’t worry. You’ll pass sooner or later.

The trick is to get them right before they have a lunch break (or possibly the end of the day)…the point at which they aren’t going to care.

Still…from the situation you’re describing either the instructor was being a douchenozzle or you’re vastly overstating the distance the car was from you.

It’s small driving errors that kill and maim people. You showed that you weren’t full in control of the vehicle and hadn’t appreciated the situation properly. Don’t feel down – feel thankful that you’ve learned this lesson without injuring yourself or anyone else.

Relax. 50% of people who take the practical test fails the first time. They only reflection on your first failure, is if it is the same examiner and s/he remembers why you failed.

I doubt you failed because of right on red. You failed because you did not stop when the examiner said so.
