Driving Permit test?

Ok so I just finished taking my Drug and Alcohol test. And they told me that I will be receiving a certificate for it. Since I want the free stuff, I have to wait 2 weeks to actually receive it via mail. My question is, in order to take the Driving Permit test, do i have to wait for the certificate and take it to the DMV or can i just take the driving permit test now while waiting on it?
– Oh and I took the Drug and Alcohol test online.
–I'm from Florida.

Thank you =]]
Oh and if I have to go to the DMV place, do i have to come with my parents?

yes i think you may need to wait for the certificate to take it to them to show them for proof just incase there systems doesnt have your information or if there system is down and it depends on the dmv in florida and if your 18 and over you dont need a parent but if your under 18 you do

Driving permit test?

I'm from Missouri, I'm taking my driving permit test in a week, and I'm not sure what and how I should really study. I've memorized all the signs. My friends say it's a common sense test and the signs they show you are things like stop, yield, and other easy stuff. I passed the practice test in the booklet; I missed things having to do with numbers, like how many feet should you signal when turning, etc. But I'm afraid that when I get there, I'll know nothing on the test. How and what should I study? And what other tips and such do you have?

Also, I'm pretty much blind in my left eye. Will I still pass the vision test?!

    it's common sense…

get some contacts or you won't pass the vision test

  2. Nerdy says:

I'm 18 and tomorrow I'm going for my license. For the permit test yeah it's pretty much common sense believe me. Don't freak out. And for the vision test, they don't check you. They only do the vision test for license. Don't worry. You'll be fine. I didn't even study for the permit test and I only got 1 question wrong out of 16. I live in Connecticut, I don't know how many questions you're going to have.

  3. McLOVIN says:

EDIT — I'm sorry. I thought you said driving test. But just take this as some advice 6 months from now.

Yeah, before they take you behind the wheel, they give you a vision test. All you do is cover each eye and read the number/letters on the sign. Basic stuff. I do believe you're supposed to signal 100 feet before you turn. I'm not from Missouri, but I know a big mistake test takers make is not scanning the intersection WHILE you're driving through it. I got about 8 mistakes from that. So basically, you just want to keep turning your head while you're crossing the intersection whether it's just a 4-way stop sign or a light.

It really is just common sense. Don't even think of it as a driving test. Think of your mom or brother in the car. But in this case, you just want to be more cautious of things.

I took the test yesterday and i failed! … It was pretty easy, all common sense, but i think i failed because of these two questions … they were about alcohol and BAC- Blood Alcohol Content because i really didn't knew what to answer, i just marked.

This probably wont help but im taking this test soon also.
and BAC is Blood Alcohol "Concentration"

  2. Sierra says:

BAC is the amount of alcohol in your blood and the limit varies in different states.

In WV it's .08 and if you exceed that then you're hit with a DUI.

  3. John M says:

you are legaly drunk when you have atleast a .08

  4. Chris K says:

I am turning 16 n like 9 days, and the test was really easy. Bac is the alcohol level in your body, so its prety much driving under the influence…

  5. Richie N says:

It is probally asking what the appropriate amount is. and you should mark zero. there is zero tollerance for people under 21 driving for BAC

  6. Emily G. says:

It varies from state to state I think. The legal limit in CT for persons under 21 is .02 and for over 21 it's .08. It may've changed since I've taken the test and it might be different in your state.

Go to dmv.org and download the driver's manual and the answer should be in there!

    Good luck!

They have asked this question over and over again and the test is as hard as you make it.

If you have studied and read the book the test will be a breeze, believe me because they don't want you to fail, they want you to pass

  2. Will says:

They actually are really easy! I took mine last November and didn't miss a question. They give you the option to skip the question and move on to the next one. So my advice is that if you're unsure on the answer skip it and come back to it later. You don't have to answer all of the questions. The computer stops you after you have a certain amount correct. So, just take your time and don't get too nervous. You'll be fine.

  3. Vade D says:

Its not bad just studie for it alot

  3. teresathegreat says:

Each DMV rotates several different written tests, so the specific question from someone else's test may not appear on your test. Just study the handbook and be familiar with all the rules – even if it's not on the test, you still need to know it to be a good driver.

Don't stress too much – even if you get too many wrong, you can always retake it in a few weeks – the "bad grade" doesn't stay on your record.

just study and make sure they don't trick you. wene i took mine every answer was A. most people would think "every answer can't be A" so watch for that. otherwise it will be very basic and random so study the highlights of everything i don't know if they gave you a book or not.

Driving Permit test?

I am afraid that I will fail my driving test. What questions did you have trouble with? What should I study? Is there anywhere I can take a practice test with different questions then the ones in the back of the book?

The test is not that difficult. If you look at the people that have their license, you can tell that basically anyone can pass it. All the test questions will come from the booklet they give you. There will be questions on signs and solid yellow lines. Good luck on your test.

  6. Adek PL says:

well you should practice driving with someone at a parking lot and see if you do well
all you have to do is pay attention and you'll do fine…
Besides it takes a while to get your permit done.

  7. kj says:

Practice with the questions at the back of the book and you'll be just fine.
