Tomorrow I'm calling the registry to schedule my license test, I just have a few questions.
I'm using my friends car, is this okay? Or does it have to be registered under my family's name? Or does it just have to be insured?
When would my road test be if i called and scheduled it tomorrow? Do you think it'd be soon?

UMMMMMM why dont you ask them when you call them theres an idea or look online i have this hunch that department of motor vehichles may have a web site and no one here could answer those questions cause im sure it varies by state and county as far as insurance once again varies by county and state law… some one hasnt been reading their rules of the road book lol you may want to schedule that test for much later read that book some more lol
all vehicles need to be insured for road test. ALSO.
make sure all lights work properly as well as horn.
seat belts are a must.
instructor may not proceed with test if these are not working properly.
mirrors must be in place and not broken.

The vehicle just has to be in road-worthy condition (working lights, good tires, ect.), and have current registration and insurance.
The only way to find out how long it'll take to get a road test scheduled is call in tomorrow and find out. You may get lucky and get in tomorrow or you may have to wait a month.
