when I got my license I went to the Antioch DMV all they did was have me drive around the block (all housing) no freeway and the only skill they tested me on was parallel parking it was easy I think I got 94 out of 100 passed it the first time as for walnut creek and Plesanton I have no idea you can go to the Antioch DMV if you want I think
I'm pretty sure they vary depending on who is giving the driving test. I took that test about 8 years ago but I remember them having make that unprotected left turn at Mt. Pisgah Road from Mt Diablo Blvd where the entrance to the Safeway is on Broadway. I was in the middle of the intersection when the light turned red and had to back up, so be aware they might make you do that unprotected left there. Then they had be do a 3 pt turn on at that dead end on Lincoln St. Then I had to turn right from Lincoln onto Broadway and almost hid a pedestrian. That's pretty much all I remember from my driving test and I barely passed with like a 75 or something.
Pleasanton MIGHT be a little easier b/c they have a much smaller downtown and it's not as busy and downtown WC is, but I really don't know. But I managed to make all those mistakes and still pass in Walnut Creek so it's not too bad.
