in california…i mean like drive with like an instructor in the car with you for a few hours
i know you do when you get your lisence…but i want to know what about just getting your permit
also…what to expect as far as getting ur permit

You just go in and take a written test for your permit.
And when u get your permit just practice then go and get your license in 6 months. thats all there is to it
The permit test is really quite easy.
I would go to driversed.com and purchase there package of practice test. Without these tests, I wouldn't of passed.
You should also get some old permit tests from your friends, it will really show you what to expect.
You do not drive when you take your permit test. In order to get your permit you must take drives ed classes, either in the classroom or online. After you complete you make an appointment at the DMV to take the test. When you get there you will wait in line for probably about a half hour, because; its the DMV and that just how it works. You then get the test
and it is a 30 question multiple choice test in which you can miss no more that 8 to get your permit. You then take it to the window they grade it in front of you and if you pass you go take you picture (which will be on your permit and your license). Then you have to sign up behind the wheel classes in which you have to complete 6 hours of driving with an instructor. You also have to complete 50 hours of driving 10 of which have to be at night with your parents in order to get your license.
