I thought you had to be teacher taught to? I’m being parent taught. But my dad wants me to take that driving test were you actually get in the car with the teacher and drive around and they grade you. So i’m just wondering if you have to pay & if I can even take it since I was parent taught.

so you have your permit right? if you live in california you have to have six hours of behind the wheel training before you can take you dmv test.
Well, if your younger than 17&1/2 you have to go to drivers ed, take your permit test, take behind the wheel, and wait six months after you get your permit to take the drivers test to get your liscense. you need 50 hours of driving experience. 10 have to be at night. These hours hAve to be with a liscensed driver 25 or older. If you are older Than 17&1/2 you just need to get your permit & then you can take the drivers test anytime after.:) you can be Parent taught for that.
