I’m over 18 and it’s my first time getting a Texas drivers license. I know I need to pass the written and visions tests but I do I also have to take the drivers test as well or is that optional?

Why wouldn’t the state actually want you to prove you can drive? Unless you are transferring a valid license from another state, you’re going to be taking the driving test.
