I grew up in Jax. You have to have a permit for 6 months before you can take the test and get your license. Plus you have to take the required class they send you to. I would read the handbook really well because it is part of the written test. For the driving test, make sure you stop at the stop sign and the roll up until you can see the roadway clearly. You must have a permit issued in this country (USA) to take the driver’s test. You still have to take the written test in this country to know the rules, laws and regulations here
it depends on where you live. If you live in California you have to get a California’s permit, then 6 months later you can get your license if your 15’1/2 or older. But if your 18 you can just get your license.
