I am canadian citizen but also now an american resident. The State of Maryland took my Ontario G1 learners license and gave me their’s Maryland’s Learner’s permit now im back in Toronto for a lil while so was wondering if I can go for my G2 on my US learners or i need ontario’s G1 to do the road test thanks!
Your Maryland learner’s permit is for Maryland, not Ontario.
If you are not a resident of Ontario, you can’t legally get an Ontario drivers license. You have to get licensed in the state or province where you live.
