and now they gave me a a paper license and they will send me the real license in a week so can i drive a car with insurance with my paper license??

I have taken and passed the Texas cdl written test,but now I have to take the cdl road test in McKinney,Texas. I do not have a job at the current time. Independent truckers in the vicinity of McKinney,Texas, can you help me?I am an ex-trucker trying to come back into the field.

Is there a diffrence in taking your road test with a stick shift or an automatic? Do they go easier or harder on you depending and do you get points off if you roll backwards at all on a hill?
