Pure liquid octane (d = 0.702 g/mL) is used as the fuel in a test of a new automobile drive train. How much energy (in kJ) is released by complete combustion of of all the octane in a 20.4 gal fuel tank?

The energy delivered to the drive wheels at 75 mph is 60500 kJ/h. Assuming all the energy is transferred to the wheels, what is the cruising range (in km) of the car on a full tank of gas?

Please help me out

I just test drove a Jeep Renegade, and all was good, but whats the issue with the body roll i noticed?

When i was driving it (both manual – stick, and auto) and turning a quarter turn hard left and right, to see how it swerves, it felt like it wasalmost tipping over. This would seem like a major issue if you were travening at speed and sweving to miss something. I did a similar thing in some other 4wds and they did not behave this badly. What I want to know, is what have people actually done to fix this? New stiffer coils didnt change it much, so I wonder if stiff dampers may make some sort of change.

Texas Driving Road Test – Do I have to take it?

So according to https://driversed.com/tvs/texas-faqs.asp… I don’t have to take the road test.
My mom is teaching me drivers ed and I plan on getting a learners license and 6 months after, get the provisional license. Do I just go to DPS and process a provisional license instead of having to take a road test? o_o Isn’t that a little dangerous?

Here’s what I read:
"Step 5: Take the driving test for your Texas drivers license (optional)

If you have completed the Texas Parent-Taught Drivers Education Program, a driving skills test is not mandatory. Once the student has turned 16 and held an instruction permit for at least 6 months, the parent or guardian participating in the Parent-Taught Drivers Education Program has the option to either:

Waive the driving skills test, OR
Require the student to pass the driving skills test administered by DPS prior to issuing a Class C drivers license.

If the parent instructor wishes the student to pass a skills test, he/she should make an appointment at the Drivers License Office that was designated in the DL-92 application.

Provisional License
Once the applicant has held a valid instruction permit for a minimum of 6 months, has turned 16 years old for a Class C license (or 17 for a Class A or B), and has completed both the classroom and driving portions of drivers education, he or she is eligible to graduate to a Provisional License.

Provisional License Restrictions
A Provisional License holder:

May not operate a motor vehicle with more than one passenger in the vehicle under 21 years old who is not a family member.
May not operate a vehicle between midnight and 5:00 a.m. unless the operation of the vehicle is necessary for the operator to attend or participate in employment or a school-related activity or because of a medical emergency.
May not operate a vehicle while using a wireless communication device, such as a cell phone.

After the 6 month period, the Provisional License Restrictions will automatically end."

Here’s my plan:
- Request a PTDE packet (Requesting now…)
-Take a 6-hour drivers ed class
-Go take the learners license test
-Get behind the wheel hours from mom.
And 6 months later, take the road test to get provisional. But according to the text above, I don’t have to take a road test, is that right?
